I agree with the call on that hit by pitch now after reading the rule. If pitch was in the strike zone or if it’s clear that he intentionally tried to get hit, then it’s not rewarded. That was a wild pitch. He was also pulling back when hit.

I like this umpires wide strike zone. To me pitchers duels are the most compelling type of competition in all of sports
