Two horrible spots on 4th down. That's just shitty for the seniors to go out like that on terrible officiating

Proud of these boys. They played their hearts out. Thought Nephew was going to pull it out. He did all he could. Just a freshman, he'll be back.

The 1st on those 4th downs he was short, no question. The last one was really close and I think they may have gotten it wrong.

I think he was definitely short on first 4th down and definitely had 2nd 4th by half a yard. Pretty obvious on video

Agreed. Hate to see the refs decide the outcome. They'll feel even worse about it when they see the bs calls on replay. Seat rehab did play a great game though, especially in the first half.

If your nephew is bolden he's the man. Could see him running a Georgia tech offense some day. He runs the option better than anyone I've seen at West Monroe other than Bobby Breen and he's just a freshman.

That freshman qb was really solid for WM. I was surprised to see Destrehan turn to their backup qb for almost the entire game. Destrehan uses 2 qbs most games, but Darensbourg usually gets the bulk of them and he played the 1st 2 series and that was it. Merritt played like 2 plays before going down.

It looked like they were trying to bounce it off of DHS players every kick with the squib to be honest. It worked once at a big moment.

They squibbed all but one kick and it always looked like he was hoping to hit a DHS player in the gut and just missed a couple. For high school kids operating the entire broadcast, pretty good work honestly.

I'm a Destrehan alum and I'll say that it appeared Trey had it (it was very close, obviously). I don't think Slade ever had it, but his 2nd effort made it a more definitive no.
