The Heat, during their winning streak, were playing some damn beautiful basketball.

i get that people hate LBJ irrationally, and i get that people don't like how this heat team was formed

...but they play fundamental basketball that is pleasing to watch. hell, when their fast break is going they look like a team from the hallowed 80s fast break era that people seem to revere so much

ETA: They do have sets that are great. But when they play 5 man out their offense becomes stagnant.

Fixed

And I'm a fan, but the Hornets have been living off of NBA and state food stamps for quite sometime now. Our fan base overall is a disgrace.

Basically when all 5 guys play on the perimeter and one guy screens the ball.

ABA is the correct answer.

if the NBA had any brains they would bust out an ABA ball for the Finals if the Pacers make it in.

ah ok. that's pretty much SOP in the NBA today though. the spurs run a lot of those sets

Physical and slow Indiana vs a less physical and more open spur team. Wont get any ratings but will be a better final than last years

It will undoubtedly be the lowest rated Finals of all time but it could be entertaining basketball.
