We've been over this before, but let's do it again.

Yeldon getting 8+ in the box on 19% of his carries.

Fournette gets it on 35% of his carries.

this is a fact. Another fact is that his ypc is much lower (this is as of a Nov 11, 18) when he faces 1-7 in the box than when 8+ in the box.
How would you explain that?

3.48 YPC with 1-7 in the box since ‘17 vs 4.37 when 8+ in the box.

Obviously the sample sizes aren't the same 35% vs 65%. But that's a pretty big difference in ypc and I'd expect it to be the other way around. It's probably likely that he popped his longer runs in those situations since there was no one in the back end to catch up once he got past the first level. But ain't nobody got time to dig up all that data.

He was muscular but a much thinner frame and he was noticeably faster.

he was 6'3" 240 in high school. he's put on maybe 10 lbs, 2 of which are hair

he really didn't get work until the second half, scored a long TD. Bama would have won that game if he had been the feature back. he housed 2 long ones.
Alabama would have won if they called the game like they had all year.

They were trying to showcase AJ and send him off with a bang. They had him launching shite all over the field and basically playing the exact opposite of how Saban liked to do things.

Henry will always be at a disadvantage behind the LOS because he simply can't move his feet as quickly as smaller backs. He cant keep his feet underneath him and move his big arse body. And when his feet ARE underneath him, he's 1 small brush from a defender from falling down.

He needs some help to get into space. But once there, he's incredible.

All I saw was a stiff arm facemask that wasn't called. It's never called on the offense. Just like targeting. Call them all or get rid of them completely.

LF has to get better on defense, you’re right. I believe he doesn’t have a single tackle all year.

Five huge offensive penalties that weren’t called on that play. Then the Jags hardly make Henry earn that shite. It was a little meh

DH/LF7 thread, now MSB edition

Just want to see if a Chubb/Fournette thread comes about soon now that he's starting to become a really solid back in CLE

Good stiff arm but that was the worst tackling I have ever seen in the NFL

You should watch that saints vs Seahawks playoff game from the 2010 season.
