If only KD would've stayed...shame he went out west. Music in the background makes it worse.

GSW vs OKC could've been a great rivalry

Oladipo gave them the 3rd ball handler they needed since harden was traded.
Then sabonis turns into a young version of his dad and it's game over.

Everything you guys are saying is correct. This squad with Durant is much better than OKC has had since the Harden days. OKC, SA, GS and possibly LAC would have been fun to watch for years. The only problem is that the "superstar" that you are talking about saw that he continually came up short in big situations and decided he wanted no part of it. He saw a chance to play on a 73 win team that just added him and figured even he couldn't choke this one up. I just wish he would spare us the "everybody is against me" bullshite. How can you lose a 3-1 lead as one of the 2 or 3 best players in the world and go to THAT team. You would think he would be chomping at the bit to play those guys the minute the horn sounded, it is still the weakest move I have witnessed in 48 years of watching sports.

The thing I don't get is everyone saying this game proves KD made the right move
Is KD really not worth a 9pt swing?

Consider the sources, the Warriors are the perfect millennial team (not a compliment). Like I said before, if bitch arse Draymond Green is your enforcer you know you are soft as shite.

Did you forget about the guy that was the best player in the world drafted by his hometown team that hadn't won a championship in an eternity and decided to bitch out and form a super team because everybody was being meanie heads and criticized him for not winning championships?
That was the weakest move I've ever seen. Durant's is right behind him though. Cheered for the Warriors in the playoffs last year but don't think I can this year.
I'll take a Westbrook kind of guy over a Lebron or Durant anyday.

Lebron would never have left Cleveland had they at least had some decent pieces around him.
Zydrunas Ilgauskas and Daniel Gibson were the 2nd and 3rd "scorers" on the 2007 squad Lebron took to the Finals.
It's getting really old hearing these comparisons. The Thunder squad KD left was light years ahead of that Cavs squad.
And the Miami team Lebron joined was a fringe playoff team in a terrible East compared to a team that just set the record for most wins in a season.

I didn't say the two situations were similar. I said Lebrons was weaker. He had more reason to be loyal to Cleveland

That team was horrrrrible.
His leaving and setting up multiple high lottery picks set the table for their championship.

It was good enough to make the Finals once and the Conf Semis 3 times. Horrrrrrrrible.
Pressure ownership to get more pieces. You don't leave though.
Lamest argument I've ever heard

Yeah, no. LeBron made the move because he had brought those Cleveland squads to the apex with his crap teammates. On top of that Miami wasn't even a serious threat at the time. KD left a team with real talent to join a 73 win team, I mean he made the ultimate ring chasing move.

You don't read so I'm not going to respond with an argument

The OKC roster is dogshit out of Russ, I'm not seeing it.

Well it's gonna look that way when a top 3 player leaves you high and dry. No room to adjust when he left so late in the game

I mean, it's not terrible if Kanter is Healthy. Are we really saying RW is the difference between that team being a top six team in the Association or 7 wins bad? They're scrappy as hell and can play defense against 90% of the NBA to balance out their offensive woes.

I said Lebrons was weaker
And that's ridiculous.
LeBron left a team that he was completely carrying on his own to go FORM a super team.
Durant left a team that was obviously a championship contender to join a super team that has already won a title.
Durant is an enormous pussy. And him doing that pretty much took all of the fun out of this NBA season.
