Deion loves to be loud. He has had quite the last week or so , whining about something.
Maybe he should start a HOF for those who are in the HOF but are better

Jim Plunkett. He was also never even selected to a single Pro Bowl, but was MVP of Super Bowl 15.

Any Quarterback that wins multiple Superbowls
Hence the word "Multiple". Jim Plunkett only got 1 SB
I'll say this again....If you got 2 or more SB's you deserve to be in the HOF.

Two. Starting QB for two SB winning teams. He was the Raiders’ QB in ‘83 when they beat the Redskins.
So yes, there is currently a QB who was the starter for two SB wins and is not in the Hall of Fame.
While Plunkett was never named to a Pro Bowl team, Eli was named to four according to Pro Football Reference. He also led the league in most INTs thrown in three different seasons, one being that ‘07 season where they beat the undefeated Patriots.

I was just thinking this about the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame when I heard Depeche Mode got in this year.

Eventually they will need to have an elite Hall of Fame to rank the Hall of Famers against each other
They literally just did this with NFL 100

Some guy on here said recently that Earl Morrall should be in the HoF, since he has 3 rings.

There are plenty undeserving HoFers from decades and decades ago
Joe Namath.

Morrall was way underrated.
1972 Dolphins.

Still not a HoFer. His only Super Bowl start was a loss.

Can’t keep Namath out, dude changed the game big-time at 50% health no less and really took the passing game to the next level by being the first QB to surpass 4K passing yards in a season and inspiring tons of young kids to emulate him and play quarterback. Not to mention he was a major figure in achieving massive crossover appeal for the league relating to women hehe.

It wouldn't have been if Don Shula had not screwed him.
Morrall led that team to an undefeated season. Then Shula lets Griese start the Super Bowl because he is finally healthy. That was bullshite. Morrall deserved that start.

Namath had one big game.
His stats are not even close to HOF stats.
It shouldn't be a popularity contest.

God have mercy on the soul who dares argue against Namath’s place in the HOF. I’ll concede the stat body of work but Namath’s a monumental figure in the history of pro football from basically facilitating the merger between AFL and NFL with his rookie contract to really making the aggressive passing game more relevant in the sport alongside Sid Gillman to giving the merger credibility with delivering on his guarantee for Super Bowl III (calling the plays in that game no less) to serving as a massive influence on the great quarterbacks of the 80s to helping the game crossover to pop culture, his impact on the sport still resonates today should be immortalized forever.

I agree with your take. If the HOF is composed of only 5 to 6 percent of all players who ever played then I don't see a problem.

If Deion wasn’t in the HoF he wouldn’t say shite. Now that he’s in, he is all for making it more exclusive to stroke his own ego. Typical
Posted on 2/4/20 at 10:39 pm to LafourcheTiger
Surprised this is an issue that Deion wanted to tackle anyways.
