The 5 coaches before Deion were a combined 69-134

I bet he's retiring. Shadeur to be named the next HC and Shilo HC in waiting.

Always about race with you people...

Where did I mention anything about race?
I can all but guarantee the responses of the people saying “Deion is scared” immediately look like that. That’s just speaking the truth

I remember when he had turf toe and missed games with the Cowboys, we all called him soft.
I’ll take my criticism back after seeing his foot.

Ever since deion got to colorado people have been vastly exaggerating how bad colorado football is. This is a program that won a national championship in 1990, played in multiple big 12 championship games in the 2000s including winning one and they played in a pac 12 championship while in that conference. Sure they arent georgia or alabama but those accolades put them in at least the top half of college football teams during that time period. Going 9-3 for a program that won a national title as recently as the 90s just isn't all that impressive.
We should know by looking at Nebraska and Miami that what you accomplished in the 90s means absolutely crap today. You claim that going 9-3 in Colorado isn't impressive, but the last time they won 9 games was in 2016, and the time before that was in 2002. In the prior 10 years before Deion got there, the program only became bowl eligible twice, and one of those seasons shouldn't count,as they only played 6 games.

What do those years have in common with deions two years besides the name on the jersey?

It is much harder to win games at a place that has a history of losing. Reruits are less likely to want to go to a team that has traditionally been bad.

Ok? What’s your point? I didn’t say any of those lol

Not really anymore with NIL

Absolutely the case with NIL. Bad teams have lower NIL. It's harder to get NIL support from boosters for a losing program compared to a winning program.

Well. That’s clearly been proven untrue with Colorado lol
All it took was a “hype man” to come in and overhaul a roster in one year and have success the second year. That’s certainly ly not sustainable and certainly not a sign of being a great coach lol

Huh? That's called being a coach and getting recruits/boosters to buy in. Being a good "hype man" is called recruiting lol. Which, don't you know, recruiting is a part of the job of a head coach. How are you knocking him for doing his job well?
I have made no claims for sustainability. I have no idea what the future entails. I'm only talking about what he has done thus far in the present. And I never made claims to him being a great coach. I just said he's a good coach. Most on here predicted him to be an absolute dumpster fire who would be fired after 2-3 seasons. He has vastly exceeded those expectations.

Sure and if Nebraska or Miami went 9-3 I wouldn't be blown away because these are teams I've seen win national championships. I'm not saying colorado is a powerhouse or even anything other than a middle of the road team that occasionally competes for a conference championship but people have been portraying colorado like they're vanderbilt or something and it just isn't the case.
