I guess you missed what I said, literally above you.
He’s 22 years old and can be a lot reckless on D. And he will get better. And he’s already a DPOY which is wild.
Not sure what you are looking for here. Spurs lose by 20+ without him last night.

Great players are the ones that can make those “bad” shots. SGA does it too

Of course I’m worried about the Spurs. They just stole home court.
The same way the Nuggets and Pacers did last season. Both series that were absolute dog fights.

I agree. Easily the most valuable player on the court.

Extreme hot take here but Wemby is only an elite defender because of his length, not because of IQ
I will say this, Jokic (one of the highest offensive IQs out there) cooks Wemby at an average of 37, 10, and 9
That obviously means the OKC bigs are very low IQ players themselves cause he ate all of them last night

Yeah “obviously” lol.
Chet is a shorter, less physically gifted version of Wemby. Awesome player, but not as tall nor big. I mean it is what it is.
Hartenstein is a very intelligent offensive player that move the ball well. His offense is limited to floaters, dunks, and put backs. But he moves the ball well and is great at what he does.
JWill had a strong year. Can stretch the floor, takes charges, and is pretty tough down low. The issue in this series is the Spurs really don’t have a matchup for him. Kornet I guess.
Just because they aren’t the most versatile offensive big in history (Joker) doesn’t = being low IQ automatically.

Have ever seen J Brunson play? This MF will take over a game in instant. So don’t discount a team with a player like him.

Typical by you. Doesn’t read the rest of the thread where I talk about how he will get even better on D, considering he’s only 22. Yet he’s already a DPOY caliber player.
SMH.
SMH.

Well then what exactly was the hot take?
The fact that an unworldly talented 22 yr old relies on size and athleticism, doesn't have the highest basketball IQ yet, and will improve as he gets older is hardly a hot take.
Eta: Damn what did you people do to get this thread anchored?? Lol

I'm not going back 17 pages, I was busy this week so just now checking in.
The difference between saying the Thunder dropped a game to the Nuggets or Pacers is like comparing a BMW and a Corrola.
STAWWWWP.... Neither of those teams could play with the Spurs. Neither of those teams have a 7'4 alien. Move on.
With that being said. Spurs had a +21 REB advantage in GM1. The game shouldn't have been close, yet it went to double OT. I don't think you'll see "perfect basketball" from either team because they are all human (we think), but I do stand by my original statement in one of these threads.
OKC has no one that can play with Wemby, Spurs in 6.

It's not at all, but WestCostfAg is staying on brand per the usual.

I think all of this is a fair take except you're discrediting Joker quite a bit. Nuggets made lots of moves to improve this year but, when full strength, they were better in year's past.
All this can be summed in 1 sentence: If Thunder lose tonight it's over.
