I don't buy it. It has been a lib-friendly league since day 1, but it is only getting mainstream attention now because of the trans crap.

Now, the general public is seeing how unhinged and far-left some of its membership is, from the Seattle owner who harassed the girls to the coaches wearing pro-trans shirts and not shooting down trans players in women's sports.

A lot of people who had neutral feelings about the WNBA now see what it is. That league caters to the 10% fringe element. They hate pretty white girls who can play.

The freaks and trolls packed arenas in Seattle, Portland, and Minneapolis to boo the shite out of Cunningham. If they can draw those same crowds consistently, then good for them. But having a pro-sports league that appeals to such a tiny fraction of the population is dangerous fiscally.

Just scanning Twitter the last few days, I have come across quite a few Minnesota Lynx fans who say they won't go back to any games there and are done supporting the team because their eyes are now open to what they have been supporting. It must really suck being a conservative stuck in that liberal wasteland.
