Also, such a huge story and you only have 20 posters who are discussing this. Everyone else has already accepted the teo is a victim story from the same people that told them he had a dead gf in the first place.

I had not heard that teo's gf had died on the same day as his GM once until this story broke. I don't watch ESPN and I'm not duped. Had I heard that before I would've been suspicious an I'm not a fricking journalist.

Yes I am sure Manti was absolutely shocked that a QB had a big year and won the award. How could he have ever predicted such a thing

The argument people are positing about his gain by seemingly lying and embellishing out the arse doesn't depend merely on Heisman voting.
He not only became the media darling of the season by doing this --as many have pointed out -- but also won more season awards than any player ever.
Wasn't it even you posting in the thread about his surreal haul of post season awards?
Hard to not think 1 or 2 of those trophies may have gone to a Clowney or Jones without this Lifetime Channel-esqe, feel good narrative attached.
