You'd think coaching was her sidegig with the how she describes her "responibilities". None of them had to do with her players or coaching basketball.

it's fine if the refs let you get away with it.
my son has played basketball for 5 years for a small christian school. we play mainly other small christian schools. i've used the word "thug" about two entirely white rich kid teams that get overly physical.
hell, before he had more control, he would be the heavy and go in to foul people way too hard at the end of the game and i told him he was being a thug and he just had to wrap them up.
she's hiding behind racism for a dirty style of play that she gets away with sometimes, and sometimes she doesn't.

She wins. She has an excellent team this year (dropped 100 on #10 Notre Dame in the opener). She has already locked down 2 top 25 players in the 2024 class. Her reputation in the sport is very well regarded.
Point is, if you win, especially at a place where nobody else wins, you can pretty much do what you want.
