James is not defeated yet he hasn’t mailed it in and reached the point to where he has given up hope of leading a team to title without a super team.

He's not defeated because he hasn't reached that opportunity EVER except as 3rd wheel to KD and Russ 7 years ago, every time they make the playoffs BOOM eliminated

James and Chris have yet to lose when they have a solid center in Clint in the lineup. Whatever and 0. They could get to 30-0 and no one would be surprised. They are that good.

I wouldn’t even know bubba I wouldn’t watch anymore. That’s the polar opposite of what sports / competition is supposed to be about imo.

I guarantee you would still watch and you'd say something like Lebron knows what greatness is and he had to join because he needed James and Chris, they didn't need him though.

If you are James and think you are the best player in the world why would you want Lebron on your team. You would want to win it without Lebron to show that you are the man on your own. And don’t need #2 all time player to win a title.

a 34 year old lebron in his what, 15th season?

i get what you're saying, and i think i agree at this point. but at some point, lebron "gets" to do something like this because of age and wear & tear.

Wouldn’t be the first time you thought you knew what you were taking about but were wrong.

Have some respect for yourself and other posters and don’t post on topics where you Don’t know what you are talking about. Do you see me posting in nascar threads? No. why, bc I got the requisite respect for my fellow poster to not put my .02 in when idk what the hell im talking about.

Oh Lebron is gonna be 41 and title chasing like David west playing 12 min a nite on the best squad in the league. He will have no shame when it comes to that.

I can’t imagine how Three ball pounders like CP3, Harden and LBJ could possibly co-exist

Either of the three has the ball, the other four are catch and shoot spot up guys?

I can’t see it happening. Money is the main issue. But Chris and James can both spot up and Knock em down. That team would have the top 3 playmakers in the whole league on one team.

Just last year you talked about how Durant not coming to Houston was because "James" not wanting to build a super team and sing things his way.

But now all of a sudden Chris Paul coming, "James" doesn't mind adding an arguably top 5 player?

I mean it's too easy, you'd still watch and you'd still talk about how amazing the rockets are. You could just admit it, you think golden state fans are mad about adding "Kevin" because of competitive spirit? Lol...

Chris and Kevin are not really close to the same player. Chris and James are not really close. And Kevin > James.

How much longer until he gets to that point?

I'm thinking as soon as the season after next (assuming nothing crazy happens and he doesn't win another championship)

Could be that soon. But I’d guess the one after that. Depends what kinda deal he signs this offseason on whether or not he starts his ring chasing tour sooner or later.

What do the rockets really need to beat the Warriors? Realistically? I live in Houston but don’t really pay attention to them

Injury Luck. I give them about a15% chance to win if warriors are healthy. Houston would have to be hot from deep and GSW cold four games outta 7 for that to happen. Also the non big four GSW players aren’t playing well lately. Iggy is old now. McCaw is disappointing. Livingston seems less effective this year than the last few. That being said GSW is the best nba team ever imo.

Eta: really late edit to say he would be the 2nd biggest pussy. KD had fake social media accounts to defend himself

Lebron had a pic of himself with a lengthy post congratulating himself the other day for reaching 30k points. He’s got his own social media ego issues too
