Idk man to me that sounds like I would rather make the most money on a small market team than be just another guy in a media market like LA taking less than superstar money

Maybe not just another guy, but a piece of team. Not the guy who is beloved around town

Lebron has already super teamed once so he can do whatever he wants and won’t take as much heat. The first time is always gonna be the worst as far as perception and backlash.

Eta: really late edit to say he would be the 2nd biggest pussy. KD had fake social media accounts to defend himself.

How so? Houston hasn't won anything yet, they don't win shite this season LBJ joins IMMEDIATELY that team becomes the favorite it's how free agency in sports works WELCOME TO AMERICA HATER

He needs to go play somewheres else. We don’t want him to taint James’s legacy like he did his own by resorting to joining a super team to win a ring. We will always give much more respect to those who win rings without doing that.

Or he can have some honour and say I’d rather do it on my own and come up short than have to compromise the spirit of competition. Either way he’s gonna be in the top 50 nba players all time next time there’s an update on the list.

Boom, who gives a shite? I thought the objective of the NBA was to win rings not to make your legacy look prettier by joining a shitty arse team and single-handedly carrying them to a title and this is distinguished from KD because he wouldn't be joining an already established NBA champion, he'd be joining a contender who(if they don't win this season) is one final and major component away from immediately becoming the favorite over the Warriors because the Rockets are legit no doubt but defeating the Warriors in 7 games THIS SEASON? Cmon now let's use some common sense.

You thought wrong. See dame comment. There’s a little. Or a lot of respect lost for a player when they take the easiest route.
Kevin got heat.
Lebron got heat.
Etx.

Why? Bc we want the best players in the world to not have to all team up with each other to win titles. We expect them to want to kick the shite outta the other best players. Not all team up on one team.

Didn't LeBron congratulate himself on social media for a career milestone RECENTLY?

If you watched the squads play you would hear their home announcing crews call them by their first name as often or more than their last name. but you don’t watch you are nothing but a stat boy. B-ball ref premium subscriber. With the eye test of ray Charles.

You're an old-school basketball aficionado who appreciates the approach of building basketball teams through the draft and the old method of the NBA are you? That's basically the only reason you're expressing this opinion whereas others simply don't care bc we acknowledge how the game and business' evolved through the years and players wanna win, it's inherent yo.

We've been through this many of times last year when you started referring to harden as james and how often in a single game houston's commentators called him harden vs james.

Guess its now Russell and not Westbrook and Embiid shall be referred to as Joel.

Well maybe you shouldn’t say that nobody is calling him James bubba? When it’s clear that it happens a lot. More than a lot.

James thinks he can win the title with Lebron and he thinks he can win a title without Lebron. Why would you want Lebron if you are James? Wouldn’t a real competitor rather do it without a super team? To earn more respect of his peers?

Lebron made a super team bc he thought he couldn’t win a title in Cleveland.

Kevin knew he couldn’t beat GSW so he made a super team.

James is not defeated yet he hasn’t mailed it in and reached the point to where he has given up hope of leading a team to title without a super team.
