Good luck tonight Astros & I’m a Rangers fan. Didn’t think I’d pull for them this postseason, but I have.

I know what it’s like to cheer for a team that flounders in the playoffs on the rare occasion they actually make the postseason. Then miraculously make a WS, only to not really be competitive. (Rangers vs Giants / Astros vs White Sox).

That Cardinals loss in 2011 still stings. The Astros are the better team. I don’t want their fans to experience a similar fate.

The great thing about Astros or Ranger fans is that there are very few bandwagon fans. Their fan bases are regional and they have to put up with a lot of tough times and bandwagon fans of other teams.

However, winning a World Series would be so much sweeter because the fan base is comprised of almost exclusively true fans that suffered through a move to the AL and 100+ loss seasons.

First two hitters seemed to be looking for the curveball.
