I’m so happy for all the fans that stayed the whole time and made it such a wild atmosphere

Especially because a lot of people were kinda flat after last nights game and then getting down 4-0 early on a Sunday night had to make people feeling pretty meh.

The moment Yuli hit thay bomb, that place was incredible for the next 4 hours. Couldn’t ask for a better way to play the last home game of a historic season that nobody will ever forget, no matter how the rest of this series plays out

It was nuts there. I got home at 2:45 from downtown and haven't been able to fall asleep yet.

You should take one for the team and go. We will be with you in spirit.

I enjoy going back in the thread when something big happens

I had to be up for 4am this morning and I had to MAKE myself go to bed last night after the bottom of the 9th. I turned my phone on Do Not Disturb and I turned off all my notifications. If I would have stayed up for that, there’s no way I’m hell I would have been able to sleep with such an adrenaline rush. My nerves were already shot as it was.

First thing I did when I woke up was look at my phone and have watched the Bregman hit 20 times this morning.

Such a clutch hit. Maeda shut down the Astros in his other appearances

Dude's I have no words about last night, as it should be. I'm totally totally speechless. Glad after all of that wildness that we ended up on the right side of the victory. On to L.A.!!!

Did it really happen?? I had a dream. I was in the stadium posted up behind Crawford boxes being mauled with repeated hugs from strangers and bartenders. Must have been a dream.

It might have actually happened.

I wish I was there...that must have been a once in a life time experience. I enjoyed the action from the comfort of my couch (when I wasn't pacing) and was texting a couple of fellow life-long Astro fans as the game went along.

Verlander must know his mission tomorrow is to throw 9 innings.

These are the types of games that the Astro franchise has been known for figuring out a way to lose and in the process ripping your balls out through your throat.

1980--Games 4 and 5 of the NLCS
1986--Game 6 of the NLCS
2005--Game 3 of the WS

And I am sure I am forgetting a few.

Called in sick. It's partially true, was feeling under the weather all day yesterday, but staying up past 1 AM didn't help at all.

ETA: I told you guys a few days ago that Roberts' bullpen use was going to bite him in the arse. Glad the Astros found someone eventually that could string a few outs together.
