What would you say are the chances of your son being on the postseason roster?

I don’t know what I’m more excited about. The playoffs or the end of the season is near which means one day closer to Dusty Baker being let go.

It was an interesting season, to be sure.

Since we are talking amongst ourselves, I would like to discuss how it is possible that the "tier 1" team finished with only the 5th best record in baseball.

But at least they got to celebrate that one dude having the 7th most homers in a season in baseball history.

Started: 61-23
Finished: 38-40

12 Playoff teams, ranked by record in final 78 games:

AL:

Astros 51-27
Guardians 50-28
Mariners 48-30
Blue Jays 47-31
Rays 41-37
Yankees 38-40

NL:

Dodgers 56-22
Braves 52-26
Cardinals 49-29
Mets 49-29
Phillies 42-36
Padres 41-37

Thx for the season end breakdown.

Interesting.

I was surprised by Degrom and Scherzer's finishes

If we are fortunate enough to get that far, the Braves and Dodgers will likely give us all we want

Don't sleep on the Guardians. They've been playing well and facing a Rays team that didn't finish strong.

I wish Dubon would get left off. I really do.

I just don't have a good feeling about it.

Same with Maton... unless Playoff Phil makes a return.

Don't accept falling short this year again. Let's make it like 2017 and win.
