Got hosed on the 2-2 check swing but got a DP with the bases loaded and none out. He's not bad.

Hell of a big game 1 win. Love a starting pitcher that can battle like Verlander did... he would have been out for the 7th if it had stayed 5-2 I'm sure.

What a day boys
Caught up on the thread and feel like everything has been mentioned/covered except for 1 thing. I know he was horrendous offensively but huge props to George for his work in CF. Catching that ball on a dead sprint in the 8th and then preventing Benny from getting a double were both great plays.
They were plays that you’d expect from a stud CF in all honesty, but still deserve some praise for his hustle
Really, really worries about Angel Hernandez behind the plate for DK tomorrow but I guess that’s the nature of the business. Pomeranz will have the same zone
