Maybe Lou should get a redo or at least an asterisk next to last nights loss. A community leader like Lou didn't deserve the C squad treatment he got from AJ.
Urquidy vs some bloke we traded for Moldynachos. Per my source on the inside, this one is indeed winnable.

I want to be upset w Hinch’s laissez fare attitude w rest and the lineup, but shite, we left 17 MOB w/o ONE QAB w a runner on 3rd and less than 2 outs
On the players too
On the players too

Hinch managed like a quitter yesterday. He gonna do the same today? I crunched the numbers this morning and it seems very likely. The man is acting like we have home field wrapped up already.

Wahoocs has a valid point, but if Hunch lets HFA throughout get away because of his idiotic scheduled rest days, he can frick right off.
The diva SS resting his back can do the same.

They've got four days of rest coming after Sunday. As long as they secure HFA but taking care of business over these next three, fine and dandy. If not:

He’s definitely not sensing any urgency
I wonder if Mattress Mack is taking care of him?

Follow The Money - On Mattress Mack Hedging the Furniture Promo through betting on Astros
This is a great discussion on Mattress Mack trying to hedge the furniture promo he has going on by betting $10 million on the Astros to win the World Series. So far as of this episode of the show he has only has 1 bet successfully placed. He is having trouble getting books to accept the large of amounts of money. He is having to possible accept odds lower than the +250 that is out there. From the episode he will likely split the bets up between Vegas and New Jersey, with Jersey taking on the bulk of the money.
Here is the ticket of the 1 bet he was able to place so far. Its a good watch/listen if you have 35 minutes to spare.

Losing very winnable games aside I’ve been thinking about who makes this postseason roster.
Toro won’t. I thought he had a chance a month ago because of his solid defense, his ability to play multiple infield positions and being a switch hitter. 1) Diaz already plays that role. 2) You can’t be classified a switch hitter if you don’t actually get any hits from the right side and rarely get any from the left.
Stubbs provides nothing and also shouldn’t be on it. He’d be taking up a spot that produces little value compared to say a baserunning threat like straw.
Marisnick will make the roster for his defense but I welcome the day we find a guy to play the outfield late game replacement role that can actually hit like an average major league hitter.
I guess the x-factor of position players is correa. Is he or isn’t he healthy enough to swing and miss in a playoff game and make it back onto the field in the next inning.
I think tucker makes it because he’s a left handed bat off the bench, capable of getting a hit (not that he will), and he can run too.
The worst part of picking pitchers right now is that we’ve faced some shitty competition and many have been doing better than they had earlier. So how do you choose? How they’ve been pitching or their history against the teams we would face?
Locks:
JV
Cole
Greinke
Osuna
Pressly (provides there are no setbacks)
Harris
Smith
Rondon (reluctantly)
James
That leaves 2 or 3 spots for:
Urquidy
Miley
Peacock
Abreu
Devenski
Biagini (no way)
Valdez (no way)
Gonna be hard to justify Miley with his recent performance, abreu with his lack of experience, and a few have injury concerns.

We can use the pitchers, b/c they’re on NORMAL rest
IDK WTF NORMAL rest is for position players who have to stay up all night and still play anyway. LMAO

Provided Urquidy pitches well tonight, I suspect he'll get the ALDS nod over Miley if we face Oakland because the A's mash lefties compared to righties. Urquidy was brilliant in his start against them, too.
If it ends up being the Rays, they're a tad worse versus lefties so maybe Miley is the pick then.

What do you think abreu’s chances are? He’s got legit stuff and the advantage of a new face against our potential opponents. But it’s his inexperience and how he’d do in the big moment that’s most concerning.

I like Urquidy in the big moment better than Tucker, as far as the “it” factor is concerned
Miley is done. Finished for his career, much less on the playoff roster of the best Astros team EVER

I'd like to see him get a chance. I'd rather have a good mix of stuff in the pen. Maybe Rondon can pull his oblique this weekend.

He's gonna die just like the rest of us one day. So I Will say his chances are good.
