We apparently went about this season all wrong. Instead of pulling for us to win we should have been focusing on others to lose. Much more gratifying and rewarding than expecting anything positive out of these losers.

The only proper way for this team to clinch a playoff spot was to be 1 strike away from winning their own game and end up losing, while crushing the Moldy Nacho on the last play of the game...then backing in anyway because the suck-arse Angels lost. It is a microcosm of the season.

An expanded playoff spot at that. Under the old system, we're 5 games out of the 2nd wild card.

Even though it’s Manfred’s bastardized version of the postseason am pretty excited to make the playoffs. 5 times in the last 6 years after not making it from 2005 through 2014.
Yes they will probably get bounced in the first round but I fear dark days could be ahead so any postseason birth I’ll happily take
