He can't turn his knee. He's barely weight bearing. He's certainly not playing by the weekend. If they can just win a game in the series, he won't have to. But the wild card series starts a week from today. It's a long way to go to get from where he is now into playing condition in a weeks time.

I approve of this message. I hope he lays into their asses like he did in the 2022 World Series.

I've popularized "mate", "lad", "heckin" and "LHG".

Enjoy!

Chas McCormick took 30 swings today (15 off a tee and 15 soft toss) and was pain-free. He needs to hit some velocity next, but he considers this good news.

Hopeful for Yordan and Chas to be ready for the playoffs IF they get there. That would help lengthen and strengthen the lineup.

I envision a game tonight where we go up 2-0 or 3-0, then spend the 7th-9th on our knees in prayer.

I am ready for an absolute proper Frambering (the good kind) tonight.

ETA: 20 pitches when it looked like it was gonna be 9. Worked out of a two out self-created jam.

I continue to remain very concerned about Yainer’s ability to succeed IF he has a chance to hit in the postseason.

ETA: I know he can hit and hit well, just the level of pitching will be higher and can likely expose his weaknesses better.
