Giving 4 abs a game to a. 500 OPS guy with bad defense over a. 900 OPS guy with better defense is quite a strategy. At least one of those at bats so far with a runner on base.

Is this another one of Dusty's sacrifice games? He commented on Ragans pre-game with respect to the Chapman trade. Was that a subtle admission this game was thrown from the start?

The writing is clearly on the wall for these final eight games.
The Astros will screw this easy Royals series up and either the the Mariners or Rangers will take the division lead, and then the next series with the Mariners will be the final nail in the coffin for the season…. and it’s likely for the best to get Dusty the hell out of here.

Kind of like LSU had to really suck to lose Les and then likewise with Orgeron. Painful as a fan but bite the bullet and get an adult in there.
