I will withhold judgement today until we see if this batters eye excuse pans out. Also, might be a hangover game for the O's - they clinched a playoff spot yesterday and were partying.

Every day is a hangover day for Dusty.

Fan stats man. You can't see what makes Maldonado great. It can't be measured. Or understood.

Find someone who loves you the way Dusty loves Maldy

Won’t give Tucker protection by putting lemon Abreu behind him, instead move Abreu up to clean up and keep Tucker at 5 and protect him with Chas
Our manager is a genius
Also right before playoffs and still trying to figure out where to put Peña despite him doing well at 2 prior. Although I don’t might Yordan and Bregman getting more at bats per game than Peña

Your fancy stats don’t show that Maldonado is better than Diaz defensively.
Oh, wait …

Amazing this team is where it’s at as much as Dusty handicaps them
But if he should do that and still win the division (big IF), his lineups have historically given the team their best chance to win in playoff games
As finicky and mind boggling as the baseball gods can be, maybe Diaz’s limited exposure leads to an opposing pitcher making a mistake when it counts more
frick, I don’t know. Just shite I tell myself as a coping mechanism. LOL

Just saw where Astros re a $2 favorite
No way. I know O’s just celebrated their playoff clinching, but they want the division, and they haven’t forgotten our series in Baltimore either
Astros struggles at home are real, and JV vs a lineup like the Orioles?
Definitely worth a 2 to 1 payout to see

Bregman’s ABs vs LHP are literally a count hair better than Maldonado
