re: DAT 9/14: Astros (CK) at Rangers (Lyles) - 7:05
This is annoying.

Just wish they could string a few big games together j

Bruh we've played .500 ball since June, our offense is maddeningly inconsistent, we're shite against bad teams. We're setting the stage for a quick bounce from the playoffs.

I say keep greinkes arse in there until he’s over 100 pitches regardless of score. We aren’t winning this one so just preserve the pen for a game that matters

Can’t wait for Greinke to pitch in the playoffs.

Maybe Grienke is better suited for a career in a cubicle.

This team never has a set lineup

Ever

But I would rather lose like this than 1 run in extras

Finding out where Greinke is at now, much better than in Oct

They play up and down to the competition. Which bodes well for the playoffs, IMO.

Except when Greinke pitches….

Why pull him? The game is out of hand so just keep him in ther and make him get 3 more outs. At least maybe this means they will pull Lyles and we can get in some garbage time runs

Speaking of bullpen, I bet the Astros bullpen love coming in mid-inning for Greinke.

They never have to worry about any inherited runners scoring because Greinke getting pulled mid-inning always means he just gave up a big homerun and the bases are clear.

I think that'll about do it for me on this one. Still scoring 7.5 runs per game in the series when you think about it.

I hear ya man but it’s just a grind night after night. The rest days, the constantly changing lineups as Wahoocs mentioned, the shitty bullpen, and the galactically stupid manager will wear on the best of fans.

Anyone who watched the 10th inning of that Sunday home game against Seattle last month knows what I mean. We’ve had some clutch GW hits no doubt, Altuve’s heroics especially, but when it comes to situations where just putting the ball in play is needed we suck ass.

Simply put, this team is less than the sum of its parts and it’s frustrating as hell. We’ve been swept by Balt, Det, Tex and lost the season series to KC and Minn. Let that sink in. They should have another 100 win season locked up but they won’t get there.

Side note, went to Globe Life for the Astros weekend series a couple of weeks ago and loved the park. And the Texas Live thing needs to happen across from MMP where the Bus and Home Plate Grill stood.

The Astros won 1-0 after Greinke left the game

Everything is fine

You need to chill out

Astros have won 12 out of 18 innings in this series

BTW, LOL

We have doubled them up 16-8 in the series so there is that.
