And some of you guys on here thought Yuli was done. Dude has been on some kind of tear. He's been killing it for well over a month.

You don't make that mistake with a guy like Arenado

Ya'll are right to give him credit, but that's all the more reason you can't do that

Playoff lineups don't play

That's your margin of error, and he won't be able to afford it

Just a stupid pitch right there, not an honest mistake

That was before Papa Beltran told him to use 2 eyes.

I hated on him a lot, especially through about June of this year, and he keeps making me look like an idiot

Yuli looked awful. A lot of people thought he was done. It was common sense to be very concerned. Even Luhnow was looking in Encarnacion. But you know, never think bad thoughts ever and whatnot.

Cole’s made two mistake pitches to this point. Threw a slider to story on a 1-2 pitch that should have been further outside when he was late on fastballs. Then threw arenado a fastball when a slider would have got him.

He was a GIDP + Infield fly rule machine from 2nd half of 2018 until this June.

I was always Team Yuli, never considered him not a part of our playoff lineup.

But I also thought Beltran was going to be a big producer for us in '17, and maybe he was, but mostly off the field.

His numbers with RISP have always been superb

I just can't understand a guy so hot before and after AS break, POTM in July, and still en fuego, hits behind Correa.

Talk about no excuses if Correa doesn't produce. But so far, he has been fairly good.

That's why Correa has no excuse for being passive. He has mad protection behind him.

Everybody but Yuli has lost their damn mind against this guy. 6 swinging strikeouts in 2 innings?

Back to Yuli, I've also considered his defense at 1st above average too.

Going into the ALCS last year, I remember doing position by position comparisons with Boston, and was surprised to hear everyone pick Pearce over Yuli.

I was admittedly ignorant about the type of season Pearce had, and he ended up showing out in the playoffs.

Where is he now?

Team Yuli

Only Straw can catch a plane but he's in Round Rock.

Notice how he was committed to swinging on pitch 1 this time? He takes first at bat and then becomes willing to swing early in later at bats.
