Well you know, swinging the bat in Houston or anywhere else for that matter, is just not the same as swinging the bat in WPB

Looks like the training staff finally got this right

Who knew it was all about location

Was wrong last night thinking Javi would get the ball next week. Sounds like they want him down in Sugar Land for one more start.

Blubaugh sent to AAA, Spaghetti activated, Isaac moved to the 60 day for the 40 man numbers.

Get greedy and get the sweep, Okert and Abreu probably the only bullpen arms down with an off day tomorrow

It would surprise me if he gets that far, hopefully he gets a lot of chase.

Joe Espada said Cristian Javier is in a position to make his next start for the major-league team. That would be in Houston during the next homestand

Lines of communication are crystal clear.

Embarrassing. Why not just bring him up and plan for a bullpen day? We only have two reliable starting pitchers at this point.

So it's: Hunter (Fri), Framber (Sat), TBA (Sun), TBA (Mon)

Gotta assume Sunday/Monday will be Gordon then Alexander and then just slip Javi and Spencer in after that. Gives them a full week off between outings.

Shoot, in order to avoid Gordon again I'd be tempted to opener with Okert again on Sunday and bullpen it.

Baltimore is giving Houston $520,000 along with infielder Ramón Urías, who was dealt for minor leaguer right-hander Twine Palmer. The money is due in equal payments on Sept. 15 and Oct. 15. Urías was owed $1,016,129 of his $3.15 million salary.
