I keep saying this team doesn’t deserve a new DAT. Let it sink to the bowels of the MSB like their shitty arse offense.

23rd in runs scored. But useless writers:

“They’re 4th in batting average, and 3rd in OPS with no one on in road games when the sun is out and the temperature is above 80 degrees. Can’t blame the hitting coaches. They can’t go to the plate with the hitters.”

Mariners won, Royals lost. Not that it matters too much.

Luis Garcia starting tomorrow for first time in over two years.

And that’s taking into account every single Ryno post

I'm kind of over this team. At this point we know who they are and it's gonna be the same shite that got us bounced from the post season last year.

If we make the playoffs at all, its almost certainly going ro be in that wild card series again. And like last year, it won't matter if we get great games from Framber or Hunter, the offense is will be who they've been all year. Wasting RISP, killing innings with double plays, no power. My expectations for these guys are low.

Been there

And it’s past impossible for me to enjoy watching

Much more like slowing down for a car wreck

I mean, witnessing Kelly last night decide to not take those points for the 4th opener in a row when it cost him the first 3 games was at least palatable b/c Baker put on a show with a NC caliber D

Kelly could back into a championship the same as Miles and Orgeron

Espada has ZERO chance with this group

gayest

Really? It’s sexual to you?

I thought if someone was not pleased with a product or service, they don’t patronize it?

Isn’t that how business works? And this is a business, right?

The frick are you talking about. I don’t give a flying frick if you don’t go to games or are displeased. And I don’t give a flying frick if people enjoy spending their entertainment dollars that way.

Caring so much to cry about it every time you don’t get a result is lame and gay.

We don’t watch the same game and have the same regard for the sport

That’s cool

You’re here every game and care enough to comment, but you have clearly drawn a line

Again, enjoy

I don’t disagree but I’ll take playoffs every day over the alternative. Could be Seattle and make it once every 30 years.

This is my thing. Maybe I’m a pussy fan, but shite they won twice and even their “bad teams” in this last decade compete enough to make the playoffs. I’ve seen twice as many World Series than I ever thought I would and they are doing a good enough job to get in the dance every year. I’ll throw a fit about the organizational effort when we get back to 2010-2014 levels and you could tune out by June.

Of course this team is flawed and frustrating and relatively low ceiling. But so is every team in the AL unless you run into the Tigers and have to see Skubal twice. These dudes have battled crazy injury luck to ride a two game lead into September. They are now healthier and playing worse. It really sucks now, they are either going to flip a switch or not. And it’s likely not but the pitching competes enough to give em a chance most nights

Nah

But I have reached the point where I resemble it more and more

There is no denying that I resent the expectation that anyone would willfully fund an enterprise that does not cater to its customers

There does exist professional sports that should remove franchises from certain owners. The Astros are not in that number, but Crane could use a reminder that the well could dry up.

I’m on the same page with Jwho. His exact scenario on what should happen with the hitting approach between owner, administration, and staff

If they got an offer with a great return after this anomaly of a season he’s had, I would jump all over it if I were the GM.

I’m sorry. There is just something about him that makes me a non-believer. He just shows signs sometimes that he will always chase that slider down and away. He had gotten away from it earlier this year, but recently I feel like he’s gotten right back to it.

Don’t get me wrong. I believe he’s a solid player and I will always appreciate what he did in 2022. But there’s no way I’d break the bank for him. Of all the guys we’ve let walk, he’s by far the one I’d lose the least sleep over.
