Just a stupid fricking way to manage a ballgame. Take the guy on your staff who has performed the worst in the last week-plus and have him start the game.

I can't get over the level of stupidity running rampant through the Astros organization right now.

The only upside is now Espada can’t bring him in to face the top of the lineup in the 7th

“Opener” can’t get through one inning.

And to add to that, he’s been atrocious against left-handed hitting this year and three of the Mets first five hitters are lefties.

Clueless managing.

I just didn't understand how the second game of the series you throw away the first inning. Shoulda broght Jake back and let him pitch.

I have zero issue with using an opener for Javier it just shouldn’t have been Sousa

Looked like a jump that wasn’t necessary.

This game was lost Aug. 3 when they didn't acquire a pitcher at the deadline.

Javier just starts throwing meat at some point in every game…couldn’t get much swing and miss that inning and left 2-strike pitches in very hittable spots

God bless Javier. He has been a big part of a lot of good times. But at this point, he is a 1-time through the order pitcher. He needs to be the guy they are trying to make Bluballs into. Come in every few days when 1 or 2 innings are needed to save the pen.

He's a 3-inning pitcher at best at this point. He has enough to get through the order once. After 9-12 hitters, forget it.

Shitty call on Wade’s check swing cost us a run there.

ETA… not that it matters anymore

Bullpen is leaking. Turns out starters not going 5 innings costs you late in the season.
