We'll see what happens over the next month when they have Correa, Harris, Gattis and McCullers back. But this team is playing bad baseball right now. I expect to get bounced in the Division Series.

19. Today is day 19 of JD Davis' reign of terror.

I will keep a running total updated daily in the DAT.

Meanwhile in LA of Anaheim, Albert Pujols is drinking his regenerative syrup tonight getting ready to party like it's 2005.

Lazy outfield. In the last week or so, I can think of:

Throw in the inside the park job from the DBacks guy. I know it took a crazy hop but still...a HR? Think it was the same game too, a left handed hitter hits what should have been a routine fly ball to right, but for some reason George is playing in right center instead of right and that ball falls for a hit.

We are 6-7 in our last 13 games going back to the start of the rangers series. JD Davis didn't play at all in any of the 6 wins. He played in 5 of the 7 losses.

The post you referenced was solely highlighting the majority of games we've played with JD Davis on the roster. It's not good. We weren't necessarily rattling off a bunch of win streaks before he got called up but we sure as hell have less success when he plays. We are 1-7 when he makes an appearance in the game. He's also been a major defensive liability in several games including tonight.

Then again, this team has more problems defensively than him but at least those guys have the ability to make up for it at the plate.

I just asked a question about the second half record.

If you want to crown JD then crown his arse

What do you Houston baws think about the games next weekend? Got plans to go to Astros Friday, LSU Saturday, Astros Sunday. Hoping everyone stays safe and this storm doesn't hover over Houston too long. If it does, I'm gonna be out a lot of money

We're 17-21 since the all star break.. I've already crowned Davis. He's the albatross. The non-luck charm.
