I find it incredibly difficult to believe Verlander requests Dubon in CF for his starts. It is some dumb hokey Dusty bullshite

It is. Something about Dubon needing to be out there because he has a stronger arm than Chas and they need that because JV is a fly ball pitcher. Bunch of nonsense.
Dubon should play 1B at this point with Diaz catching. Singleton nor Shitty belong in this lineup.

Dusty and his moronic lineups have part of me wanting to lose just so he can't feel validated. At the very least, in most situations I am hoping for Maldonado to frick up.

JV has made it pretty clear that his current motivation is wins. When you also take into consideration that he's not a complete fricking moron... he knows Yainer and Jake gives him a better chance to win than Dubon and Singleton.
