Interesting. I hope that doesn't mean Yordan to the IL. Dubon said he was fine. Hensley needs a 40 man slot. I assume since Goodrum has been by passed for another utility guy, hes the likely DFA candidate

Yeah I would think so. I like Hensley. He’s versatile and has really performed the last few years. Hope he can stick and our fearless leader actually plays him

Not to be selfish but I’m going to my first game at MMP in a couple years on Thursday and splurged for some good seats so I’m gonna need for Yordan to be ok by then.

Watching the Mets/Phillies game and they were talking about trade deadline acquisitions across the league. Said Josh Bell is 1 for his last 32

He’ll be good by then, but that’s his scheduled rest day

Sorry about your financial setback

Not a big deal though. Not like it’s a playoff game. Just practice, an exhibition of sorts.

#Astros have called up prospect David Hensley. The utility player, who has played all over the infield, is slashing .298/.420/.478 with 30 2B, 10 HR, 20 SB this season in Triple-A.

Here’s some stats for those curious

Hopefully he performs (more important gets a chance to) and takes Dubon’s spot. Would De-Dustify a lot of potential lineups

That would be incredible and make me way more optimistic about a postseason run

I'm just not sure who's spot he's taking. Hensley makes some sense if Dubon is down since we've already lost Diaz. That would give us the utility flex and bench backup to play a bunch of positions. But there didn't seem to be any issues with Dubon last night. He was around the clubhouse doing interviews and said he was fine.

Well, when your manager is chosen as a political move, and he sits in your dugout looking like a Covid awareness poster that rests his roster like they have government jobs………

On the subject of his unwillingness to give call ups playing time, keep in mind he has always managed set rosters, which is the only reason he has won 5 divisions and piled up so many wins.

He has never had a job where he was required to get the most out of what he had to work with using baseball intellect.

FTR, I never had anything personal against Baker, and by all accounts he’s a very likable guy, until he became the manager of a team I follow religiously.

I think Baker and Les Miles should do a reality show on one of the alphabet networks, somewhere between Food and Vice, where one eats grass and the other smokes it.
