The A's are a better team. They came back from a late deficit to beat us and then beat the shite out of us.
You're seeing the difference between a team that's streaking and having a great time playing with 0 pressure vs a team who was the heavy favorite, riddled by injury, feeling the pressure and shell shocked by the A's catching them.

Yep. They absolutely are right now. 1-9 their order is killing ours and their starters are good enough to get through 5 and hand it to their elite bullpen. Maybe our guys could get their head out of their arse. Or perhaps the manager could stop writing notes and sitting there like a bump on a log. Unlikely though.

There’s nothing about this team that is playoff worthy, including the starting pitching. It is overrated.

A's are a waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better team than us. We just absolutely suck compared to them. Sadly these are facts.

the excitement from Kalas over a single says it all

Verlander must not be getting pussy this first trimester.

What a crappy fan base. The Coliseum is maybe half full.
Cmon man, it's California. Beautiful day, I'd give my left nut to be out on the Bay on a 40 foot Baltic.

Fellas, just take solace if you are one that hasn't spent WS Champ prices to attend a game.
You are a sucker to even think about going watch this team. They clearly are settled and ready for a true off-season. Their pay does not significantly change for the personal time they could spend away from baseball.
They have rings. There's no Beltran taking his last shot. These guys are planning weddings, golf, beach, Vegas, etc.
shite, I'm going to the Ryder Cup. I ain't got no time fo chasing a WS anyway. LOL
I need a financial break, so their sub-Cubs repeat effort is right on time.
And I'd really rather have Himch in the opposing dugout, so this could be an unanswered prayer too.

And I was thinking a couple of weeks ago while we were on the road trip that we aren't gonna have a WS relapse like the Cubs did.

How bad is Tyler Anderson? Jesus. He gave up 9 runs to these jokers.

Last thing because Im probably not gonna watch much more-Who in our lineup would you fear as an opposing fan? Like when Cruz, Khris Davis etc I have the anticipation that they are going to change the momentum of the game with a bomb. Who in our lineup would an opposing fan think that way? Springer has been that way over stretches I guess still dont think he will put the consistency to have a 40 homer season

Well that's game. Congrats to Oakland on the clean three game sweep.
This Houston team is arguably the worst in MLB right now. They have been playing amateur level, undisciplined baseball for nearly a month.
If they don't turn things around very quickly then they can kiss even a wild card spot goodbye.
