And you can say any prospect, but even then the return would be bitched about. They needed a MLB pitcher + a prospect for the trade to even start to make sense.
And based on the movement at the deadline I just don't think they would have fetched that

So the AL West is so bad that we now have to pull for the Rangers to beat the Royals
Wildcard teams could end with better records than the AL West Divisional Winner
And BTW, DBacks fired their 3rd base coach today. That’s the kinda move needed to light a fire in what’s left of this team. Baserunning is bad, but I mean more on the hitting side.
