I don’t watch much these days. I keep tabs on the phone apps, on this board and watch 1 or 2 games a week. I’d watch more, but an underachieving offense that’s a product of the idiotic lineup decisions have sapped the fun out of post All-Star break baseball. We can't even enjoy what should be new and improved blood in the lineup because the two position players acquired who were starters elsewhere are part-time players here so that inferior players can continue to play almost every day.
It’s better than the dying days of the Drayton McLane regime and the tanking days of 2012-14. But beating the Dusty Baker horse for at least another 6 weeks is tiresome.
I hope we win it all and force him to “retire.” I will watch every pitch in the postseason, But I can’t sit through another 6 weeks of watching this dipshit bungle this team and then get his panties in a wad the handful of times he's asked to explain his stupidity.

MLB.com mid-season prospect update is out. Hunter Brown is up to #71 in the top 100. Drew Gilbert slots in as our #2 prospect. Yainer Diaz is #3

I haven't really followed our minor league teams this year, but how is Pedro Leon doing?

Yeah, there aren’t many discussions to have right now that don’t fall into the department of redundancy department.
Let’s have a poll. Who starts in CF tonight?
A) Dubon
B) Chas
C) Jake
D) Other

Striking out over 25% of the time, and a mediocre .237 average, but the 2B/HR/BB/SB numbers are all promising. Just needs a little less swing and miss in his game.

Chas in LF, Mancini at DH, Yed gets a rest day.

Nah
Gonna need Yed in the lineup
Is Stanek still on the roster?
Isn't he having a career year?

Yed needs a bout with the 3 day diarrhea that got Tucker. Seemed to work for him.

You are a wise man.

Forty Whatman had another forgettable game in Sugarland
3.2 IP, 2 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 4 BB, 2K more balls than strikes.
Hes hardly worth mentioning anymore.

His only hope at this point is a trade to the Phillies.

His only hope is to learn a trade

Let's bring in Ed Wade to make it happen.

Just wait. Whitley just needs another off-season and a good spring training and he’ll make an impact in 2023. Just like the last four years.

Dubon went 3/4? Good. Means he's due a rest day.
Posted on 8/17/22 at 1:26 pm to Lsuhoohoo
So who takes Diaz' spot on the roster?
Posted on 8/17/22 at 1:31 pm to ShaneTheLegLechler
He’s even more worthless now that we have Mancini. Just bring up Brinson and pinch run him if Maldy ever gets on late in a close game
That could happen maybe once a month and he’d still offer more value than Matijevic
