Carlos Correa says today was the 1st day of his rehab. "Just have to let the ligament heal." Says he's watched a ton of movies while on DL.
Correa started rehab, that's good news.
Hinch says he's still at least a month out. Which would be about 6 weeks. Maybe he can win someone a minor league championship
ETA:

Correa's scar from his surgery approx. 2 weeks ago is nearly fully healed, he shows us. Has most of range of motion back in his left thumb.

And another bomb...
Let's hope it's not midnight. We don't need Pumpkin Fiers.
And by pumpkin, I mean turd.

But , we have a great offense so no need to make real trade moves .

Jake vs Archer tonight. There's only one outcome for those ABs isn't there?

1-for-4 with a lucky infield hit.

Whitley went for BC today. 5 IP 5 H 1 R (earned) 6 Ks. ERA back to sub 3 in high A at 2.96

Whitley turns 20 before the playoffs.
Old enough to serve for his country, old enough to pitch in a MLB bullpen.
Call him up!

Gotta make sure we order one bottle of sparkling cider for the celebration. I wouldnt want Jim Crane to get busted for serving to minors.

He won't be 20 till next month.
If he comes out the gates hot next year possibly at Corpus, if/when there's a rotation injury, I wouldn't be shocked to see him in Houston.
In 68 IP this year he's striking out 37% of batters faced. That's insane
Not to mention he's rocking a .381 BABIP
