Apparently, Carter has hit a couple of bombs off Shoemaker. He still sucks.

I can deal with Castro... But Carter, there's no reason this guy should be getting PT.

I think the trade was fair all around.
Surprised that LE is in here saying the Astros gave up to much. Pretty sure early this season he was adamant that the Astros farm system was over rated because it didn't have any elite prospects.
Strange how a couple of months can change your prospective.

Anyone else got a feeling we might make another move?

Well genius, somewhere back in this thread I seem to recall you saying something along the lines that the Astros have up too much for a rental.
Then there here was some debate on that your definition of a rental is wrong... And your response was something like 'when you give up that much in prospects and only get an extra year then what you have is a rental.' - or something along those lines.
Of course if I misread all that then I have an easy explanation that I am a dumbfrick... Sorry I'm not a genius like you. Nor am I cool like you.
You're cool.

All the talk has been about losing Phillips, but what do you think this means about Kemp?
I, and from what I've read many others agreed, believed that he would be a main part of any blockbuster trade we would make because nobody really saw how he fit into our lineup. Think the front office rates him highly? That's why I kinda think him, singleton and another piece or two could be used for someone else. shite....even throw Fiers in there and talk to SD about Ross.

Agree with everything you just said.

Singleton is under too good of a contract to get rid of... He's cheap. I don't think he gets traded.
