I choose not to include Reddick in playoff discussions

When he shows up in a playoff game, remind me. LOL

I know he had one significant hit in Boston, otherwise he has really been a non-factor

He isn't available for what the Astros would be willing to part with. Hell, I don't think he is available at all right now.

With almost every team back in contention this may be one of most underwhelming trade deadlines in memory.

Stroman, Wheeler, and Leake may be only real options

I mean he has hit in the ALDS... .375 against Boston two years ago and .400 vs Cleveland last year

I was overseas for the Indians series

Forgive me if I short changed him

I know he did nothing vs Yankees and Dodgers in 14 games

Yankees and Dodgers are the ones that will count this year again

Reddick has been a decidedly mediocre postseason hitter.

I love how long they let Lynn pitch.... Over 100.... Baseball needs more of that instead of the 5 inning 60 pitch bullshite that happens so often....

His last fastball was 95 so they made the right call for sure.

When Kyle Tucker shows up in a regular season game, remind me.

Kyle Tucker figures to be a higher ceiling player than Reddick. Hes not there yet and I dont think he's going to get ramped up to that point in less than 3 months. Hitting gets harder as you get into the playoffs and face the best teams. Jose Altuve is a .267 career hitter in the playoffs. I'd rather have Reddick in the playoffs, given the time line that Tucker has to adjust to major league pitching.

Gallo is absolutely dialed in today. His fourth strikeout in four plate appearances

Yeah, I guess Im saying Straw and Tucker could produce enough to equal Reddick’s production vs Yankees and Dodgers, and in return we get Bum’s arm and 13M off the books for next year

A certain Ranger fan who posts here declared not long ago that Gallo would be dragging his nuts over the Astros faces for the next 10 years....

He is 0-23 at Minute Maid this year with 17 K.

Figure Astros fan would like this
quote:

If #BlueJays indeed were reluctant to trade with #Braves, that stance has softened, sources say. Thus, Stroman and/or Giles to ATL possible. As Dave notes, Giles might be preference. Anthopoulos acquired two of his other former Jays - Bautista (later released) and Donaldson. 2/2
