Yeah that’s a good point. And if we had a healthy Correa it’d be a lot easier to be having Tuck go through these growing pains but as it stands, we’re gonna be relying on guys like Reddick (and Gattis, Marwin) to have games like tonight

He hit 2 balls 100 mph tonight. Just needs to elevate. He's been a slow starter at every level. Would be nice if other guys were hitting...but they aint

Yea I believe the scouting report was that he works deep counts and that’s why at times he has a strikeout issue. The problem is the pitchers at this level can command pitches and take advantage of his patience. Every ab he is down in the count. I expect a top prospect to recognize this and adjust but he has yet to do so. That’s the disappointing part for me.

Well, it also would not hurt him to dominate Triple-A to the level Tyler White, J.D. Davis and Derek Fisher can, to be honest.

He is just so young, and giving him the start of a season to learn the MLB ropes is likely going to be the better option for this franchise in 2019.

We need to trade for another bat since they are not going to commit to Tony Kemp as an everyday starter and Correa's status is troubling.

Mike Trout hit .220 in his first 120 ABs.
Baseball is hard.

But hey Tuck, could you toss in a flyball or a sinking line drive out in the OF? Or anything other than a light grounder to 2nd.

Yep. Launch angle. His Fresno stats showed too many ground balls. That's not usually something you work on playing daily in the majors though.

I would rather a HR than a walk to Trout. At least he might hit it straight at somebody.

Amazing an ump made that call w Trout in the box

Good win tonight despite marwin’s efforts to frick it up. Would have been nice to add a few more runs considering the opportunities but the pitching was excellent.

Shitty hitting. Double plays. LOB. Horrendous defense. And a 3-1 win.

I stand with keuchel.
