Oh and for those wondering, Quintana had another shite start today. This one against the rangers

4.1 innings
6 hits
2 walks
5 runs - 3 earned
5 strikeouts

Do not want.

Yuli back in early season form where it looked like he was batting back in Cuba again

FWIW I don't think NYY has been shutout yet this season. I remember our first series seeing that and we shut them out through 8 but they scored a run in the 9th. Just checked and after a quick glance looks like they've still got the streak going

ETA: not worried at all about jinxing it cause I'd be shocked if we held them scoreless with Hoyt and presumably Tolliver throwing these last 2 innings

Yeah but Fiers only went four innings so we should collectively lose our minds.

Saw some Twitter traffic on that, and the numbers aren't all they seem. Apparently, the White Sox botched at three double play balls.

It's kinda like Sonny Gray. The A's and White Sox suck defensively so it really screws their pitchers.

Good news, we arent the only team in baseball to get curb stomped by James Paxton.

Hes got a perfect game going against the Angels right now in the sixth.

Please stop messing with my anti-Quintana propaganda.

I'm on board for Gray, but I want to start a movement against Quintana. He's going to cost way too much for what he's worth.

He's also really similar to Keuchel except not as good

Yeah, I suspect we're much more in on Gray and Cole.

Paxton is the real deal IMO

Could def see him turning into one of the top starters in the AL down the line

Q had been on his previous 3 starts, looking like an ace. He has been so damn inconsistent this year though

Ol Fiers doing all kinds of great things for Stros

In Houston, Mike Fiers just became the 1st pitcher since 1913 (& probably ever) to throw 100+ pitches in 4 IP or less without allowing a run

That would be great to see her beat the Freeze in Atlanta.

That's just the thing. They were valuing him at near-Chris Sale levels this past offseason. He is not even close to worth what Chicago is asking.

I assume they are starting to come down some on the price, but I would be willing to bet they are still overvaluing him.
