When you have JV, Frambace, Javiace, Garcia, Odorizzi and Brown? Plus whatever Lance is for the rest of the season? Hardly.

Astros have a fourth coach out for health and safety protocols, pitching coach Bill Murphy. Minor League pitching coordinator Eric Niesen has joined the club.

Bench coach Joe Espada, first base coach Omar Lopez and quality control coach Dan Firova still out.

Don't worry, baws. Dusty is just fine.

He's been better this season, Detroit would have to eat some contract, and he's several years younger than Yuli.

Also I was joking. Miggy has no fit on the Astros' roster.

The lineup looks a whole bunch better with Bregs & Yuli having pulses

Figures the Astros would make a run at the KC reliever and possibly Santana before he was traded, as it wouldn't have cost them much in terms of prospects.

Bell would be a nice get for them, Bell and Edward's Jr for some middle tier prospects

I think the price for Bell will be higher.

I dunno. Who is going to overpay for a rental first baseman? Plus, Mancini is also on the market. It will probably come down to Washington's preference of similar "ranked" offers.

Maybe someone in top 15 who is only in A ball, but no one who is near ready

Plate approach was dogshit. Need to think middle-away against Sandoval most of the time.

Blue doesn't seem confident of his own zone yet. Those two pitches were probably strikes, he stood up like he wanted to call them and then played it off like he was adjusting his shirt.
