Time for our savior Chuck to get us a split

Not sure how I feel about Bregs in the HR Derby

Yeah, I don't like it either, but it fits his personality

I do think he’s sound enough mechanically where it may not be a huge issue. If Springer were on a tear (lol) I would be much more concerned about him since his mechanics and approach come and go so easily.

He's going to go up there and nub a few about 5' up the first base line, just for shits and giggles.

I love watching the HR derby, but am not a big fan of bregs in it as well. I don't think he will do very well(don't care about this), but I always wonder if it messes up swings. It didn't hurt Judge. Dude was solid down the stretch for the Yankees.

Dude slumped MASSIVELY after the HR derby last year. He did rebound and have a great September, but his first/second half spits were still heavily favoring his first half (.200 points higher OPS) because his July and especially August was so bad.

ETA: That July/August swoon probably gave Altuve the MVP though.

Picked up my ring last night.

Heavy as f*ck.

Astros ownership really went above and beyond the call to show their gratitude to the great fans of this team.

I think them giving out so many rings is 2 fold:

1. Get more fans to the park

2. Stop people from profiting off them by flooding the market

99% no 1. They do these on midweek home games to get larger crowds.

Interesting. Ramos is a rental so shouldn’t be too pricey

Going to be some competition for Ramos, they’ve been talking about a reunion with Washington for a few weeks now

ETA: he’s also a worse framer than Federeosjsld
