There's going to be days where the hitting or pitching won't be there and it's good base running and solid infield defense that will win the game. We better get better at both.

Y'all were fussing at people last night for complaining. Won't call names, but a poster that is complaining tonight literally said to someone, "we are leading no reason to complain" and had several similar post by others.

Wahoo was dead on. With no outs, on a fly ball that looks like it might get over an outfielder's head you have to be close enough to the bag at second to tag up and get to third. If he drops the ball, the worst case scenario is 1st and third with no outs. Sole objective for Gattis was to get to third with less than two outs where he could score from a sac fly or a passed ball or infield groundout.

I think there's a fine line about the complaining. Obviously if someone just popped in one of our threads and saw some bitching they'd think we were asinine because of our historic start
As I believe Jwho said earlier, it's not so much worrying about losing this game. Or any single game in the near future for that matter. It's 2 consistent things that we've pretty much noticed all season long that this team kills themselves doing. Horrible baserunning IQ and shitty infield defense. Nobody is going to lose any sleep if one or both of those things costs us 1 win in June or July. We do know however that those 2 things are EXTREMELY important come October and the more we see our team screw up the less confidence we have that it'll be fixed
