They will essentially platoon Dubon/external 2B acquisition and Melton depending on the starting pitcher/ballpark I would think. Let’s hope that becomes a “problem”

Yes. I had the same reaction. Give me a LHH 2B who can field at an average level and provide some sort of impact at the deadline

Manfred, a total clown who cost MLB owners a fortune by voiding the ESPN contract, needs to be fired. Then the new commish can get rid of the moronic shift rule. Altuve back to 2B.

How many times this season were we struggling and Tuve was struggling, he would come to bat with 1st and 2nd no outs in a tied or 1run game and he would pop, K, or GIDP?

Bunting never an option

But he can come up with 2 outs-nobody on and bunt with a 3 run lead

Would the Reds deal a Gavin Lux if they are out of it? Hasn’t played much 2B this year but Cincy has a lot of infielders. Lefty hitting, gets on base a ton, can play 2B or LF, not a ton of pop, extra year of control. Wouldn’t be cheap but wouldn’t be crazy expensive or anything either

Dana lies. He sells whatever it's his job to sell that day.

Fortunately, it appears he may end up being the farm wizard we needed when it comes to bringing elite athletes along. If Brice Mathews actually works out, Brown's shite won't stink.

Three straight hits, not great.

Yeah, he's the most likely fit who could be had at a fair price, considering he's ideally a slappy 9-hole hitter.

Aside from another lefty they need someone who actually takes pitches in this lineup. I honestly don’t care if it’s someone different from Lux who Ks more often and has more three true outcomes. But I’m sick of seeing first pitch ground ball outs and station to station shite

I said if, baw. He's 23. He could be another Pedro Leon or he could be an all-star.

Lamote Wade kinda fits that mold but he sucked so fricking bad this year idk if it’s even worth adding the lefty for lefty sake there.

The bottom half of his Savant page is very red, but the top half is disgustingly blue.

And he’s pretty positionless shitty athlete. He was a guy that had nice numbers on bad Giants teams I thought would be a nice piece

Dubon is such a dumbass. Take a fricking pitch so Melton can just steal second.
