So what are the suspended game rules? Since we started the inning do we have to finish at some point even if on a different day?
Never have totally understood the shortened game vs the suspended game.

I think if a team takes the lead in the middle of an inning or if the game is not official yet (4 1/2 innings if the home team leads, 5 if the visitors lead), the game is suspended.
In this case, I think they'd call it an Astros win since it's an official game at this point.

The rain is damn near out of the area and there's nothing behind it. They could resume play shortly but the field is a trash pit at this point. Idk why they waited so long to delay it given how quickly that system was moving. Could have put the tarp on, waited 20-30 minutes and been back at it.
