Week in review:
- We own those frauds in South Oklahoma
- Yordan went nuclear with 5 HR @ Globe Life
- Combined no-hitter with Imai, Okra, and Santa
- Burrows outdueled DeGrom
- Milwaukee took 2 of 3 and reminded us this offense can still vanish at any moment
- The Miz shut us tf down. Think someone said his May ERA was 0.23
- Imai had another good outing vs Brewers. 110 pitches 6IP 2ER (off a HR), just had no run support
- Espada was clocked with a foul ball. Saddens me to say it was not enough to take him away from the organization
- 15-14 record in May; first winning month since June 2025
- Chandler if you're reading this, you're still a bitch and your media credential is useless

Injury updates:
- Brown: began rehab assignment. Next start is 4 June
- Hader: expect to be activated today
- Javier: scheduled to start 3 June for Corpus
- Altuve: fielding ground balls; should face live batting this week
- Loperfido: Sugar Land rehab assignment in progress
- LMJ: who cares
- Sousa: on a throwing program
- Blanco: throwing live BP
- Wesneski: throwing live BP
- Yainer: hitting off of a tee

Looking ahead:
Off Monday
3 vs Pirates
3 vs A's

Big opportunity month if the pitching can maintain.

Only 6 games against teams over .500 (Pirates & Guards). 17-10 would get them there. They went 15-14 in May against a pretty tough schedule.

Can't reiterate enough how much we all know this team is a couple of pieces short, just noting the opportunity they have with the way the staff has been pitching.

Anecdotal thought…I know this is an odd thing to say after the week Yordan had and I’m certainly not pushing any panic buttons, but those two ABs against Megill over the weekend were…disturbing. I know Megill’s a badass and sometimes the pitcher wins. But Yed was just blown away. I mean not even competitive. And except for one pitch, all fastballs.

And you just know Dana isn't going to address those missing pieces at the deadline either

Oh I agree…I was just a bit shocked at how bad he looked. Could just be a matter of trying to do too much or not seeing the ball well out of that particular pitcher’s hand.

Man I wish.

Hasn’t been the same, even before this current injury.

Garcia was never the same. Took him over two years and he blew his arm out again almost immediately.

Meanwhile G Cole comes back from his TJ surgery in 14 mos and is lights out through two starts. Gotta love our medical and training staff!

What a sad stat. But at least they've played better baseball.

The Friday game was infuriating because that should have been a win. But Sunday was encouraging because Imai looked better than he did in the no-hit game.
