I'll defer to Ryno on the life or death questions.

Disco usually starts throwing batting practice the third time through the order.

I know injuries and surgery are not a one size fits all, but I read about this particular injury/surgery and the max recovery period was 12 weeks. That would have put us into January. Why is he still dealing with it in June? You guys know anything further about this injury?

It's possible he didn't rehab and strengthen the leg post-surgery properly. He ended up hurting the hammy of his other (left) leg and then experiencing weakness in the right leg after that. He may have taken for granted that right leg was fine when it started to feel normal months ago.

The Bonds treatment has affected Bregs

He needs to figure it out or he is staring sub .250 right in the eyes

This. Hopefully they did it right this time. I'm sure with this being Jose's only serious injury of his career he just wants to get back to normal.

Puig, Dietrich, Roark and a few bullpen arms are gonna be moved if they don’t start making up ground. Getting out of last place helped.

If Alex Wood comes back strong once he gets healthy, he’s a trade candidate too.

He needs to take the walks and avoid bad habits until Altuve and Springer are back. Might need to put him behind those two and in front of Big Al to get him some pitches to hit for awhile.

Love him. Want for first base, at least in a platoon for Yuli.

Does that include Garrett? Seems like a guy you'd keep.

When Bregman and Brantley are slumping, then you add the injuries, runs are hard to come by.

His leg is probably not back to full strength where is running is balanced. He just needs to get the leg stronger.

That's really my point. There is no reason for him to come back until he is closer to 100 percent. It's June. He's needed in October, which means he could come back in mid-to-late August and have a positive effect.

And if he can't do that, he really doesn't need to be playing this season. I'd rather have him 100 percent next March. We've seen him play hurt in October, and it wasn't good.

Hinch handles baserunners as well as a quadriplegic handles deep water

Doubt they move Garrett. More than likely Hughes and Hernandez. Pretty meh.
