I may be in the minority but IDGAF if Castro hits 220 because of plays like that

Strike em out, throw em out to end the inning. One of my favorite plays in baseball.

He needs to be called up to Fresno or Cooperstown at this point. Kemp deserves a chance.

Exactly. Anyone remember a guy named Ausmus?

I was just getting ready to say the same thing. Castro reminds me of Ausmus with maybe a little more HR potential.

Correa is so good he turned Bonafacio into Villar.

Wish he could turn some of his team mates into hitters.

VV has had a nice first start. Similar to LMJ where he's a bit wild. Only look for it to improve.

Last inning for vv. Decent work. Not great control bit battled hard.

I'm impressed with his demeanor...he stayed cool and focused and didn't get rattled. Great velocity but not a lot of movement on the fast ball. Offspeed stuff was very rough. A couple of great ones and a lot of mediocre.

He needs to perfect his change up and he'll be very dangerous.

Nice outing for VV, pitch count is up but not surprising considering the circumstances. It will be interesting to see how he adjusts to become more efficient going forward. It may be a little more difficult for him than it has been for LMJ so far, his arm is great but he doesn't appear to get as much movement on his FB.

We ain't winning many games with this kind of offense.

Shitty pitcher and we can't hit him

He looked like he was overthrowing at times which might be the nerves. You can't teach his arm and he will only get more comfortable

Agree, he may even be better off if he dials it down a notch. His 96-97 looked pretty flat, but if he gets even a little movement at 93-94 it would make a big difference for him.
