Dusty 1 win away from 2,000

Just occurred to me that’s why he played the full lineup last night and will probably do so tonight

Once he gets his 2k then it’s back to resting everyone

Tomorrow is an afternoon getaway day game. 100% chance of maximum rest.

The Astros made switch hitter Niko Goodrum a priority signing once the MLB owners lifted the lockout in March to improve their middle-infield depth behind Altuve, Jeremy Peña and Aledmys Díaz. They hoped to avoid a repeat of giving 117 plate appearances to an overmatched Robel García in 2021. Goodrum, on paper, was an upgrade.

But so far, Goodrum has been no better than García.

Put simply, Chas McCormick has outperformed Jose Siri in the first three-plus weeks of the season, and he’s also deservedly gotten more at-bats. McCormick came into Monday night’s series opener against the Mariners with a 125 OPS+ to Siri’s 84 and having gotten 71 plate appearances to Siri’s 45.

Goodrum needs to join Baez in the DFA club.

Diaz is your UT guy and if there are injuries then give Perez a longer look.

On paper, anal fissures are better than having my arm torn off by a bear. But neither of those things are something I want.

James Click might have been the only person on Earth to think, "Niko Goodrum...boy, we could really use that guy!"

Turned on Sports Grid, a gambling talk network, and they were ripping MLB for changing the baseball again and leading to a boring, low offense product this season.

The hosts also said it's clear they're manipulating the strike zone for nefarious purposes.

Womanfred, buffoon, keeps ruining the game.

Full lineup....except for his adopted son, minor leaguer Jose Siri.

Yeah, but at this point CF and C are a revolving door... even though Chas has been without a doubt better.

I think we (sane people) agree that just because the buffoon manager has made CF a revolving door doesn't mean it should be.

CMLBs should play CF every day (except for those precious rest days, of course) until My Son returns.

Inexcusable that Chas isn't the everyday starter. Not that anyone is an "everyday" starter these days, but you know what I mean.

It’s just bizarre cause last season Meyers should’ve been playing more and Dusty wouldn’t stop playing Chas

Now Chas should be playing every day and he’s still making it a shared position

You must have caught my weekly spot on Sports Grid

All joking aside, I’m pretty sure those were my sentiments over a week ago

Chas has gotten off to a good start this season. Looks to have some resemblance of an approach
