YFPHA are 29-17.

Feldman vs Tillman

Feldman needs to build off of that good start he had the last time out.

Let's get W #30

Oh and today's WTF transaction...2009 3rd rounder Telvin Nash Released. I guess that means we like AJ Reed and Conrad Gregor better

Also of note...the Astros lead the AL West in run differential by a whopping 25 runs.

Run diff.

YFPHA +26
Halos -3
Rangers -1
M's -17
A's -3

Watching MLB Network, Did you guys know that the 2015 Astros are the 2014 Milwaukee Brewers? I guess due to recent history, people don't trust them.

Everyone is looking for something to discredit what Houston has done so far this year.

There have been a lot of teams in the last few years that have surged early and then faded as the season went on. I think most people are taking a wait and see approach. I can't really blame them but the fact remains, they are winning games and I don't think it is a fluke.

This. As upset and disappointed I would be if we regressed like that, I don't think I'd be surprised.

Nash was super depressed on Twitter yesterday.

Very strange situation. Can't help but think there is more to it than just a slumping minor league player.

The guy hit 100 HR's in minor league ball between Low A and AA in 5 years.

With the new addition to prospects at 1B and the plethora of outfield talent we have in the system, I think there was just no place to stick him.

I still have high hopes for AJ Reed as a possible long term solution at 1B. Dude absolutely raked in college

On another note, is everybody in Clutch City Metro high and dry?

I actually made it in to work but it was crazy. Going north on 59 there were cars driving south on the shoulder.

Longtime lurker on here and crawfish boxes. Been with the rebuild since Carlos Lee was stinking up MinuteMaid and JMart & FMart were our "hope" for the future alongside Altuve.

Few things, with Singleton showing he can go opposite field and on Luhnow's last visit to Fresno he pointed out that was something they were looking for him to work on... So with Trogdor's usual "great" start and no worry of service time on his contract being since he's signed up for a long time, when does he get recalled and Trogdor sent down?

Maybe a promotion to AA for Reed soon?

You can't call down carter from my understanding. People have been asking mctaggart this on Twitter for awhile now. Also with singleton I'm still not sold that he will come up and play how we need him to play. I mean we can call him up and he hit .200 maybe less and still consider him a upgrade from carter but in the end I think he needs more time to truly develope. He's the type of hitter who will go from a .280 batting average to .320 and then back to .2800 in a matter of 2 weeks. He needs to get more consistant.

Carter is out of options. Probably the main reason he's still our starting first baseman.

I was thinking about that yesterday. Move tucker to 3 and Luis to 6 or 7.

That's a good point. I guess if he settled out at .290 and still showed he can hit to both sides of the field, than it would be worth it to get him up.

I mean, yeah, we're going for number 30, but something has to give in the line up. I'm in the "don't give Valbuena a pass because of his homer #'s" group and the "I wonder if Tucker can play first?" group as well. There's definitely going to be some shifting around when Jed gets back up. Him at 3rd & Captain at short with a possible call up for Singleton would be a dream for sustainable offense to go along with pitching.
