Not much to say so going to be lazy and just copy and paste this from the Chron
Astros (11-11) update: Dusty Baker is two wins shy of becoming the 12th major league manager with 2,000 for his career. … During the Astros’ 4-3 road trip to Texas and Toronto, their starting pitchers posted a 2.83 ERA over 41 1/3 innings. … Kyle Tucker hit safely in all seven games on the trip, going 13-for-25 (.520) with two home runs and 11 RBIs. Over the course of his last nine games, Tucker has raised his average from .087 to .250. … So far so good with Verlander’s comeback from Tommy John surgeery. He leads the majors with a 0.69 WHIP and his .161 opponents’ batting average ranks second in the American League. … Héctor Neris ranks second among MLB pitchers with 12 appearances and has a 0.82 ERA. Since 2016, he leads all pitchers with 383 appearances.
Mariners (12-10) update: Shortstop J.P. Crawford leads the AL with a .372 batting average and has hit safely in his last 10 games. His .462 on-base percentage trails only Mike Trout (.481) in MLB, and his .628 slugging percentage ranks eighth in the majors. … First baseman Ty France is slashing .333/.410.540 and is tied for second in the majors with 21 RBIs. … After a slow start to his career, rookie center fielder Julio Rodriguez is hitting .320/.393/.480 over his last seven games and connected on his first big league homer in Sunday’s 7-3 win at Miami, which snapped a four-game losing streak for Seattle.

Odo pitching in the City Connects again? Yikes
Think this is a pretty big series considering it's only May, if the Astros want to make it a point the West still runs through them they need to make a statement pretty soon.

Its sorta difficult to root for this year's team.
Typical Dusty Baker managing.. Has a few to several good years, comes up short, then sort of fades out.
I feel 2022 is the fade out year. No real leadership or spark on the roster.
Look for Dusty to get fired/relieved end of year.

Not a Stros fan but I watched some of the Stros/Jays series. Really felt like playoff baseball at times. Something just seems off with Houston right now, but I'm sure they will pick it up.

Would've been big to beat the Blue Jays this weekend. Oh well.
Our record I am looking at shows we are a .500 team. That's about right I think for this year honestly.

Long trip from Toronto to Buffalo to Houston. Who gets a rest night?

Yed definitely needs a breather. Probably Uncle Mike too after that hard day back. Niko to DH most likely.

Full regular lineup tonight, Tuve is back
Matijevic, Blanco, and Martinez all option to Sugar Land. Back to 26 man rosters.

Tuve was working on bunts in BP. Prepare yourselves for a ridiculously timed bunt attempt this evening.
And a re-injuring of the hamstring trying to beat it out.
