Bill Cullen shows all seemed like they stayed on the air about a week before they got canceled.

Hot Potato is a television game show that was broadcast on NBC in the United States from January 23 to June 29, 1984. From April 23 until its conclusion, the show was known as Celebrity Hot Potato.

So 5 full months.

My favorite part was the opening. The players would intro themselves, then the announcer would say

quote:

And they're here to play… HOT (hissssssssssssssss) POTATO!

Or he'd be the original host of a game show that really took off once he was gone.

This is a must see episode of that show (includes Vanessa Williams, Rick Barry and a brief glimpse of Wilt Chamberlain):

I didn't watch the entire episode... but Vince Ferragamo was dumber than a potato.

Ken Norton Sr. may have been just as dumb but he mumbled so much I couldn't understand a word he was saying.

But I'm kind of intrigued by crazy Japanese game shows, so here's a live look in at the A's hiding that rat Fiers

I looked at the video just now. She seemed unfazed. "Wow, those look really nice!"

Fun Fact: Most winners on TPIR sell their prizes because of the taxes. She rolled off with some nice money.

Next 3 weeks are by far the hardest stretch of the season for us.

@ A’s (24-17)
@ Rangers (19-24)
vs Dodgers (23-18)
vs Padres (25-17)
vs Boston (25-17)
@ Toronto (22-17)
@ Boston (25-17)

You offer me .500 through that stretch and I’m taking it. 2nd half of June is against all bottom teams besides the ChiSox so we can put together a nice win streak somewhere in there

Good news is Framber should be back around the first Boston or Toronto series if he doesn’t have any setbacks but it might take him a start or 2 to be 100%

@LAAngelsPR
#Angels OF Mike Trout has been placed on the 10-day injured list with a right calf strain.

Estimated return to play is 6-8 weeks.
